Bunker Hill

Bunker Hill Village incorporated in December 1954. Only single-family homes are permitted in Bunker Hill Village with a minimum lot size of 10,000 square feet in District B and 20,000 square feet in District A. There are approximately 1,307 homes in Bunker Hill Village.

The Memorial Villages Police Department serves Bunker Hill, Piney Point and Hunters Creek. The police station is located at 11981 Memorial Drive and they provide a number of services, including "House Watch".

The Village Fire Department serves six Memorial Villages - Bunker Hill, Hedwig Village, Hilshire, Hunters Creek, Piney Point and Spring Valley. The station is located at 901 Corbindale in Hedwig Village.

Children in Bunker Hill Village attend schools in Spring Branch I.S.D.

Residents in Bunker Hill Village benefit not only from the Memorial Villages Police Department and the Village Fire Department, but also from their own elected mayor/council system, zoning ordinances and tax rate. In addition, Bunker Hill has its own water authority.
